How to Clear App Data and Cache on Android

In this tutorial you will learn how to clear cache on Android.

The cache is data on your phone that hold images, scripts, and files that your phone can use instead of redownloading things from a website or app, especially one you visit often.

If your phone is running low on storage, or it’s been a while, it’s good to try and clear the cache to free up obsolete data.

We will go through the steps to clear the cache on Android.

➡️ Go to Settings.
➡️ Scroll down to Storage.
➡️ Tap Cached Data and click Clear.
➡️ If you want to clear the cache for a particular app, go to Apps in Settings.
➡️ Click Application Manager and find the desired app.
➡️ Click the app and then tap Storage. There you can click Clear Cache for that specific app.

Clearing the cache is a quick and easy way to free up some extra storage on your phone.
