How to draw illuminated letter L in Art Nouveau style~Botanical initial letter step by step tutorial

🍁Today we are going to make an illumination of letter L in Art Nouveau style with vegetation floral motifs and various ink lines common for this art style. This video is a step by step guided tutorial showing the whole process from start to finish. Scroll down to see the list of materials used for this art project.

📜This initial illumination design features such floral botanical elements as water lilly buds, leaves, flower stems. The combination of elements and colors (teal , silver) are used to give this decorative initial letter pond or lake theme.
We will be using such ink drawing techniques as stippling, hatching, combining strong and subtle thin lines.

📜Materials (not sponsored) :
~ Mixed media or other kind of thick paper
~ Ruler, pencil, eraser (I'm using Tombow Mono Zero eraser pen);
~ Drawing compass
~ Black waterproof ink pens or ink fineliners of small and bigger sizes:
- Sakura Micron ink pen 005
- Sakura Micron ink pen 03
~ Kuretake ZIG calligraphy pen (Teal color)
- Silver or metallic ink (I'm using Shachihata ArtlineDecorite 1.0 )
