Description from the creator

southernfrugal.com Italian Parsley can easily be frozen in ice trays with water by putting another ice cube on top to keep leaves under water till frozen. I have found that no flavor is lost after freezing if leaves are frozen within the water. Water seems to act as a cushion against freezer burn. This a very frugal way to make use of the whole bunch of parsley bought at the store instead of having to throw away half because it wilted before it could be used. Freezing is also a very convenient way to use the parsley. Italian parsley is loaded with nutrients, especially parsley tea. History seems to indicate that parsley originated in locations around the Mediterranean Sea area. It was often used for medicinal purposed. Today herbalists laud the use of parsley tea when you're not feeling well. With all the vitamins and minerals it contains they're probably right.
