Video Transcript:
Non-Amazon Prime members get one free audiobook within the first 30 days when they sign up for a trial Audible membership. However, Amazon Prime members get credits that let them get two free audiobooks over that time. The best part is that even if you cancel your Audible membership inside of the 30 day window, you can still keep the audiobooks you purchased and access them through Audible. If you need help cancelling your Audible subscription, I link to a video in the description that will walk you through how to do that.

And now, let's walk through how to sign up for your Audible trial membership and get your two free audiobooks.

Step 1. Open your Web browser and navigate to amazon.com. Log into your account if prompted. You'll arrive at your Amazon home screen.

Step 2. Hold your cursor over "Departments" in the row of options that appear directly beneath the search bar. A menu appears.

Step 3. Hold your cursor over "Books and Audible." Another menu appears to the right of the Departments menu.

Step 4. Click "Audible Membership" in the Audible Audiobooks section. The Audible screen appears.

Step 5. You'll see an advertisement toward the top of the screen encouraging you to start your free Audible trial and get two free books on Amazon. Click the yellow "Start Your Free Trial" link. A Review Items screen appears.

Step 6. Verify your order and payment information. You shouldn't see any charge for your first 30 days. However, you will need to have a payment method on file in the event you go beyond your 30-day trial, which would incur charges. Click "Confirm Your Free Trial" on the right side of the screen after verifying all of your information is correct. A Welcome to Audible screen appears, where you can now choose your two free audiobooks.

Step 7. Similar to what you did at the beginning, click "Departments" beneath the search bar toward the top of the screen, hold your cursor over "Books & Audible," and then click "Audible Audiobooks" in the menu that appears to the right of Books & Audible. The Audible search screen appears.

Step 8. Enter the name of the audiobook you want to search for in the Audible Audiobooks search bar toward the top of the screen. In this example, I'll enter "It" by Stephen King, and then click the yellow "Search" icon. The search results screen appears.

Step 9. Locate your desired audiobook in the list of search results, and then click it. A screen appears for the audiobook you selected.

Step 10. Ensure that the Audible Audiobook format is selected, and then verify that you have a credit available to purchase this book. You should see your two free credits from Amazon in the box on the right side of the screen, and a button that says "Buy with Audible Credit." Click the yellow "Buy with Audible Credit" button.

Step 11. Enter the password associated with your Amazon account if prompted, and then click "Sign In." A Start Listening to Your New Audiobook screen appears.

Step 12. Click the drop-down that appears in the Start Listening to Your New Audiobook section, select the device you want your Audible audiobook to be delivered to, and then click the yellow "Deliver" button. A message appears informing you that your audiobook is on its way to that device. Return to the Audible search screen at any time over the next 30 days to claim your second free book. If you don't want to get charged for your Audible membership, you'll need to cancel your account before the 30 days of free membership passes. However, even if you cancel your Audible membership, you'll still be able to access the audiobooks you purchased for free through Audible.

Congratulations! You now know how to use your Amazon Prime membership to get two free audiobooks from Audible.
