How to make a hand embroidered patch| DIY christmas patches

Learn how to make your own hand embroidered patch in this 11min video. Christmas it's just around the corner so get making for gifts or your home decor. You can use this technique on many other designs too.
For this Christmas design i use only two stitches so it's super easy:

Satin Stitch

What materials you need for this patch

Embroidery Hoop 12cm
Felt in white & black
Needle
Embroidery Yarn ( i use three different brown colors)
Scissors
Fabric/Craft Glue

For this design i have used two strands of yarn ( they normally have 6)
and three for my final cross stitch

If you like to turn this into a brooch stitch a safety pin onto the black felt before gluing together
This version is one to stitch on so you can also not add the black felt and glue/stitch straight onto clothing and accessories
