Rosehips are very high in vitamin C. During the Second World War, when Britain was not importing fresh fruit, rosehip syrup was made as an alternative source of vitamin C. So I have a go at making some syrup, using an original wartime recipe. www.self-sufficientinsuburbia.blogspot.com.
