In this video, you'll learn how to open a very tight jar using science rather than your muscles. I was very frustrated trying to open the jar. I consider myself a strong person but rather more intelligent. So I used my engineering knowledge of heat transfer and the effect of heat to metal, to open this jar. As we all have learned in my science lessons that when you heat a metal it expands, that means if we heat the cap of a jar which is made up of metal it should expand compare to the glass which stays the same diameter as it initial size.
