0:54 Use a brush when painting the cornice, and the area where the ceiling meets the cornice, painting out ~50mm from the cornice
1:26 Apply paint to the roller evenly from the tray and start painting without too much overlap or dripping
2:07 Before painting the walls choose a new roller sleeve that meets your needs - for standard interior plasterboard walls, choose a 12 to 14mm nap roller sleeve

2:22 Use a trim brush to paint the area where the wall meets the cornice, starting 10mm off the edge and working into the corner
3:07 Apply paint to the roller and spread the paint across the wall without too much overlap, in a zigzag pattern, and without lifting the roller from the wall
3:45 Wait a minimum of 2 hours before applying a second coat following the same steps
