How to Pick a Sweet and Juicy Watermelon EVERY TIME

It's peak watermelon season! Watermelons are delicious and nutritious and are one most economical fruits. But, have you ever picked a dud? Well here are my tips about how to pick a sweet and juicy watermelon everytime

It is important to select a ripe watermelon for maximum nutrients.

Here are a few tips to pick the best one:

• Choose a watermelon that has a creamy yellow patch on one side. This patch tells you that the watermelon was allowed to ripen on the vine.

• Choose a watermelon that has smooth, firm skin and that has a uniform shape (either circular or oval).

• Choose a watermelon that is heavy for the size; Heaviness in a watermelon is a good thing because the water content of a watermelon will typically increase along with ripening

• Try thumping the watermelon to check for a deep hollow sound.

• Smell the melon for a sweet fragrance

Grab a melon with Dark Colored skin.
