If you grow broccoli in your garden, or if you just buy fresh broccoli from the store, here is a simple way to freeze it for extended storage. Broccoli only lasts a few days to a week in the fridge, if you freeze it it can last for many months. But, you can't just freeze broccoli straight from the store or right cut off your garden plant (the taste will become bitter and the texture will get mushy). Fresh broccoli must be blanched before freezing. In this video I demonstrate how to do this process!
