Hi, I'm Jenny Lynch and I've been writing horoscopes for many years and I'm here today to tell you how to read your horoscope. So, we all know what our Sun Sign is and that's generally, you know, what you'll read in a horoscope, but it's also important, sometimes, to read your ascendant sign. What they call your "ascendant" or your "rising" and that's determined by the time you were born, that even though you're familiar with reading your Sun Sign, there's another way to do it, too, and that's to look at your rising sign which is determined by the time you were born.

The rising sign changes every two hours, and let's say that you were a cancer. If you were born at dawn, your rising sign would be the same as your sun, but if you were born at noon you would have a completely different rising sign. So it's really important to find out what time you were born, then read your sun sign and your rising sign to get the full and accurate picture.
