HOW TO: RECORD A VIDEO WITH VIRTUALDUB IN HD || FREEWARE SOFTWARE || 2013

In this video you can find out how to capture your screen in high definition (HD) with freeware programs (VirtualDub, JPEG codec, VH Capture).

1. Download required programs and install them.
2. Open VH Capture.
2.1 Set frame rate.
2.2 Set audio capture source.
2.3 Set video capture source .
2.4 Close VH Capture.
3. Open VirtualDub.
3.1 Hit FILE - CAPTURE AVI.
3.2 Hit DEVICE - VHScrCap (Direct Show).
3.3 Hit VIDEO - SET CUSTOM VIDEO FORMAT, check the box near USE CUSTOM SIZE and enter your screen's resolution.
3.4 Data format should be 32-bit ARGB.
3.5 Hit VIDEO - COMPRESSION, select PICVideo MJPEG Codec, press CONFIGURE, choose compression quality (recommended 16~18).
3.6 Hit AUDIO - ENABLE AUDIO CAPTURE (optional).
3.7 Hit CAPTURE - HIDE DISPLAY ON CAPTURE (optional).
3.8 Set FPS same as in 2.1.
3.9 Hit FILE - SET CURRENT FILE, select directory and enter name who your recording going to be called.
3.10 Hit CAPTURE - CAPTURE VIDEO
