Description from the creator

How to replace a door sweep (or bottom seal) is one of the first video's where I did a voice over because the customer was a work a home lady who needed the place quiet.

Replacing a bottom seal on a door isn't difficult. The hard part is getting the door off the hinges and to a pair of sawhorses. Exterior doors are generally solid and can be very heavy.

The tools needed are minimal as you can see from the list above. If wood rot is present on the bottom of the door, you'll need to patch and/or repair the rotted wood before installing the door sweep.

It's a good idea to have a helper when replacing the bottom seal on an exterior door. As I mentioned above, they are heavy. It's very easy to smash fingers or your hand if you're not careful! Just go slow and you should be alright.
