Alarm is one of the three, and the only reactive mode of interaction between you and your phone in iOS 7. It is directly related to the "Clock/Timer" functions, and this is how you can set it up on the iOS 7 interface. There are essentially two modes of accessing it, as there are two modes of reaching out the "Clock" app.

Step 1. First one is from the home screen, where "Clock" is an app that can be launched, and then switched to "Alarm" function.

Step 2. Click on the plus sign to create a new alarm.

Step 3. Dial in the time of your alarm and create its properties: "Repeat", "Label", the ring tone (called "Sound") and the ability to snooze, then tap "Save".

Your alarm should be now armed. From this point on, either on home screen or in a lock mode, iOS 7 will display a little icon in the upper right area of the screen (near the battery icon) that informs you of an alarm ongoing.

Step 4. When the alarm time is reached, the reactive dialog is presented. You can either "Snooze" or select OK for your alarm. Snoozing will buy you ten more minutes of time, but will have the alarm recurring. Tapping "OK" will disarm your alarm.

Step 5. If your phone switches to lock screen mode, the alarm will be presented to you again when snoozing time is over. Tap "Tap to snooze" again which will start a little counter until your next alarm, or slide to stop it.

Step 6. The second and faster way of reaching to alarm set-up is via the Control Center. Swipe up to reveal the Control Center and choose the "Clock/Timer" icon from the lower level. This launches the Timer, but you can easily switch to alarm mode by tapping the alarm icon. From here onwards, the procedure of alarm set-up is the same.

Result: Wow, you have now officially found out how to set up (and deal with) an alarm in iOS7! This was a HowTech tutorial. Like us on Facebook, love us forever or leave us the comment here in the field below.
