Skype is one of the most popular platforms for voice and video calls. A lot of the times you might wanna show what’s on your screen to discuss things further, whether it’s for business, artistic or other purposes.

To share the screen on a Skype call, here’s what you need to do. Start a voice or video call and during the call click on the two screen icons. If you’re doing this for the first time, MacOS will ask to grant permission to skype to access your screen. This only needs to be done once. Click open Preferences. Find Skype under Screen Recording and enable the checkbox. You may need to restart skype.

To stop the sharing, you simply click the same button again and click Stop Sharing.

That’s it! Next time you want to share your screen it’ll be only a matter of seconds!
