In this tutorial, you'll learn how to stop annoying telemarketers from calling your phone number, simply by using the national do not call registry available online.

Step # 1 -- Navigating to the Registry

First, go to "www.donotcall.gov" to begin the process, click "Register Now".

Step # 2 -- Register a Phone Number

In the first field, enter your phone number that you'd like telemarketers to be prohibited from calling. In the next two fields you may enter two additional phone numbers. In the 4th and 5th field, enter your e-mail address, then click "Submit". On the next page click "register".

Step # 3 -- Verify your Registration

Now, navigate to the inbox of your e-mail address that you previously entered. Open the e-mail from "Register" with the subject "National Do Not Call Registry" and click the link within that e-mail. The registration should now be complete, and you'll be placed on the do not call list. That's it, you now know how to stop telemarketers calls using the national do not call registry.
