How To Take Attendance In Zoom | Does Zoom Have a Seating Chart Feature?

How to take attendance in Zoom by using an easy seating chart hack to keep track of which students are present if you don't want to use the waiting room feature to track attendance. This Zoom hack will also help in playing games where you need to go in a circle and students take turns. But does Zoom already have a seating chart feature that will solve the attendance taking frustrations? I'll walk you through my search for the mysterious Zoom adjustable gallery view feature that Zoom says is coming. After filming this video, I sat in on an official Zoom webinar for teachers. In this video, the secret hack is placing a number in front of your student's name in Zoom. Placing a number in front of the name, will allow you to visually see who is not present in your class. This hack will also help you keep track of which student is next in a game, activity, or class discussion. You can ask your students to add the number to their name before class begins or you can rename students yourself and I show you how to do this in this video. Now a potential problem is if other teachers in your school know this hack and want to assign different numbers to the same students.
