Description from the creator

In this video you will learn how to make a crochet decrease. When decreasing you subtract stitches to make a piece narrower. In a pattern this stitch is also called (sc2tog) which basically means: single crochet 2 stitches together. For learning purposes we will also demonstrate how to decrease using Double Crochet stitches (dc2tog).

STEP-BY-STEP 👣
Single crochet decrease (sc2tog):
1. Insert hook and draw up a loop (now you got 2 loops on your hook)
2. Insert hook in the next stitch and draw up a loop (3 loops are now on hook)
3. Yarn over and draw through all three loops on the hook.

Double crochet decrease (dc2tog):
1. Yarn over, insert hook and draw up a loop (now you got 3 loops on your hook)
2. Yarn over and go through 2 loops on your hook (2 loops are now on your hook)
3. Yarn over, insert hook in the next stitch and draw up a loop (4 loops are now on hook)
4. Yarn over and draw through 2 loops on the hook (2 loops are now on your hook)
5. Yarn over and draw through all loops on the hook.
