Raise your pool TA (total alkalinity) using sodium bicarb a.k.a. baking soda. The range is 80 - 100 ppm.

Your total alkalinity (TA) is how alkaline the pool water. Too high or low and your pool water quality will be as good as it could be.

When the TA is correct everything else (chlorine, pool pH, calcium hardness) works better and is easier to maintain.

If the TA reading is too high, your pool will experience an increased demand for muriatic acid or cloudy swimming pool.

Too low will cause problems with pH "bounce" and possible green pool water.

I recommend testing your water alkalinity levels at least once per week, preferably twice. When when your pool is properly balanced it will change very little.
