How to Pray To God (7 Steps Based on the Lord's Prayer)

How to pray to God using 7 steps from the Lord's Prayer. Jesus taught the disciples a beautiful order of praying in Matthew 6:9-13. He and the disciples prayed many other kinds of prayers but the Lord's prayer is a great one to understand and apply whenever we pray. For instance, praying without first addressing God in an attitude of worship and awe is a terrible way to approach God and bombard Him with selfish requests. When we do worship Him and remember who He is, our prayer changes and becomes more in line with His will, and it follows that God will be more likely to answer requests that bear witness to His nature.
So I broke down the Lord's prayer into 7 parts for our study and easy incorporation whenever we pray. I hope this is a blessing to you. Let me know what kinds of prayers you are struggling to pray and I will ask God for wisdom in guiding us with what we might say to Him. Be strong, prayer warriors!
