How To Stop Worrying and Stop Feeling Guilty

In this video I give some helpful tips to show you how to stop worrying and stop feeling guilty.

To stop worrying is sometimes easier said than done. First off worry and anxiety are two COMPLETELY different things. If you are feeling high levels of anxiety these tips might help a little bit by by no means should you stop there.

But as far as general worrying goes and how to stop worrying its important to understand what worry is. Both worry and guilt are emotions all of us deal with. And like any emotion if we don't learn how to control it...it will inevitably control us.

To stop worrying you need to take a step back and really look at what is making you worried in the first place. You have to realize that many of the things we worry about day in and day out we make 100x worst in our heads (sometimes this isnt the case and you truly have something to worry about especially in more serious situations)

But what I am trying to get at is just sitting in a room and worrying is not only gonna make you feel worse, but if what ever you are worrying about never happens you have inflected so much emotional damage to yourself for no reason.

The best way to stop worrying is to take action. Action is the one thing that will if anything make you feel better about the situation because you are starting to do something that you can control and taking back that feeling of helplessness that is sometimes tied in with worry.

When you want to stop feeling guilty it is similar to stop worrying. Worry and guilt are two sides of the same coin. Worry deals with things in the future while guilt haunts us from things in the past.

To stop feeling guilty one thing you have to remember is that whatever you did is in the past and no amount of harping on it is going to change it.

You can also stop feeling guilty when you recognize that whatever you did does not define who you are. It was an ACT that you committed not who you ARE. To understand that and accept that will help in the process of letting go and stop feeling guilty.

Keep moving forward and try to act differently next time to also help you get over feeling guilty.
