Hi everyone and welcome to my YouTube channel and today in this video we will see how to disable two factor authentication on iPhone. so, what happens is when you enable two factor authentication is whenever you are trying to log into your apple id you need to enter a verification code. Now this code can be send to you through sms or you can get a call for the code. For example try to log into my apple id, let us see what happens. As you can see a verification code has been send to my mobile number. So, unless you enter the verification code you can not log into your iTunes account. So, just see how to disable this two factor authentication.
Now for that one what we will do is we will go to safari or you can go to any browser and then we will type here one website appleid.apple.com. Now you need to enter your apple id and password and then enter. Now a verification code has been send to my phone number which I have to enter once and if it is verified correctly I will log into my apple account. So, right now I am logging into my appple account. So once your apple id is verified then log into your apple account. After that go to security. Scroll down and right now Two factor authentication is on. So, if you want to disable select "Turn off two factor authentication" and then select "Continue". Now you need to select new security questions and then answer. So, once you have entered the security question and answer then a verification code will be send to your rescue email address. This is the email address which you use when you are creating an apple id. It's not the apple id. It's the optional email address. So, you need to enter the verification code to disable the two factor authentication. So, let me enter the verification code and then "Next". So, you can see that two factor authentication has been turned off. so, now whenever you try to log into your apple account you just need to enter your password. Select "Done".
