How to activate your SIM card | Pay As You Go [How to] | Support on Three (2018)

Sometimes if you've upgraded, we'll send you a new SIM card. If you've got a Pay As You Go phone and SIM card from us, it should be ready to use once you turn on your phone. If you're using a phone you didn't buy from us with a Three SIM, you'll need to activate the SIM card.

Follow these steps to activate your new Pay As You Go on Three SIM card:

1. If you bought your Three phone and SIM from us you can skip this step. If you're using a non-Three phone, make sure it is 3G and that it's unlocked.
2. Check that you've fully charged your phone’s battery.
3. Insert your SIM into your phone and switch it on
4. We'll text you to let you know we've started activating your SIM. Make sure you keep your phone switched on while we connect you to the Three network. This should only take about 2 hours but during busy periods it make take longer
5. When we're nearly finished we'll send you another text asking you turn your phone off and on again
6. Your SIM will now be activated but we’ll send you another text just to confirm.
