Are you expecting an update for your Android device or just want to make sure you're Android is up to date? If your phone hasn't notified you of an update, this video will show you how you can check for them.

Open the system settings and scroll down to open 'About Phone' at the bottom. Or just click on 'Check for Updates' if it's in the main settings. Some Android's will have the update option in the About Phone screen.

Just click it and let it search. You should be connected to a WiFi source when checking for updates, but 4G will also work. If it finds an update, click Install to start downloading it.

There is also a way to force update your phone, it's possible to update a little sooner than normal with this method.

Open up the phone app and dial: *#*#2432546#*#*

The Android will start searching once you input the last key.
