How to Install Third-Party Software in Ubuntu (one of many ways) // Ubuntu 16.04 Tips

Here I show you how to install software in Ubuntu 16.04. There are a multitude of ways to actually go about this - the Software Center, downloading .deb packages, adding repositories to your PPA and downloading that way, or by building from source. But here are a couple easy ways to get you started.
