How to Set Up the Arlo Security Light System

Welcome the newest member of the Arlo family: the Arlo Security Light. Learn how to setup the Arlo Security Light System in just a few steps.

Arlo Security Light is 100% wire-free, weather-resistant, and fully customizable. Designed to work intelligently by itself or with your existing Arlo Security System, you can setup your Arlo Security Light in just a few steps.

First, download the latest version of the Arlo app and login to your existing account, or select "New to Arlo." Tap "Arlo Security Light" and select "Arlo Security Light & Bridge." Scan the QR code on the back of the Arlo Bridge and plug it into an indoor outlet. Once it starts blinking amber, continue in the app and press and hold the Sync button until the LED starts blinking blue.

Select your WiFi network and login. Name your Arlo Bridge, select your timezone, and update your Arlo Bridge to the newest firmware available.

Then, add your Arlo Security Light by scanning the QR code on the back and press and hold the sync button. Once your Arlo Security light is paired to your system, name your light and select "Continue." Repeat these steps for any additional Arlo Security Lights you have. Then you're done!
