How to share screen on Skype

Screen sharing and call recording is a simple feature within Skype, across desktop and mobile devices. Easily record calls and your screen with Skype. Watch this video to find out the steps for sharing Skype screen.


1. Open Skype on your desktop/mobile phone. Enter the email address/phone number along with the password for logging in or else come to the home page if you are already logged in. In case you are using Windows, ensure that you are going for the version of Skype which can be easily downloaded and not the Windows version which is pre-installed.
2. Make a voice/video call by choosing the name of the person from the left-hand corner and click the telephone/video camera option on the top-right. This will start the call. In case a person calls, you have to choose the Answer button to start talking.
3. Click the + button at the bottom.
4. Then click on Share Screens in the middle of the pop-up menu suite. This will give you a window with more choices. Select the screen for sharing with the person. In case of only one screen, it will be the sole one listed.
5. You can also choose Share your Screen at the top and then choose Share a Window for zeroing in on the particular window to be shared.
6. Choose Start at the bottom.
7. Choose Stop Sharing for concluding the sharing process. This option is housed in a box located at the top-right corner.
