In this soccer tutorial, we are showing to goalkeepers how to prepare for a breakaway. First off, it's important to cover as much angle as possible in a 1v1 situation, as you are advancing towards the forward of the opposing team.

You can cover more angles, by extending your arms out as you're coming out of your net. Make sure to expand your body to look the biggest that you can. It will intimidate the player as you're approaching him.

If you feel that you have the opportunity to quickly get to the player, immediately start charging towards the striker, to cover as much angles as possible and make it much more difficult for him to score a goal.

As you can see in this soccer tutorial, the more aggressive you are towards the incoming player, the more chances you have at stopping the ball from entering the net.

To recap, it's important to not hesitate and make sure you get that ball as quickly as you can.

We hope that you enjoyed these goalkeeping soccer tips and tricks.
