This is what you are going to learn today. I will be using VBA for this tutorial and this demonstration is done with Microsoft Excel 2010.

Let’s get started. Follow the step by step tutorial to automatically enter date:

1. Open the workbook you are going to use.
2. Right click on the sheet 1 and click on view code.

4. Click save.

Now date will be automatically entered when you enter any data In column A.

Change the range according to your need and remember date will placed in the next column no matter it is empty or it has any text.
