How to Cancel Subscriptions on iPhone IOS12 (2020) - EASY STEP BY STEP

In this video, we specifically look at how to cancel subscriptions on your iPhone using IOS12. Some older iPhones do not run the latest IOS software - an Iphone 5s was used in making this video.

This video guides you through the process - step by step. By the end of this video, you'll know how to find, manage and cancel your subscriptions using IOS12. This is useful as you'll, for example, be able to cancel app subscriptions on your iPhone so as to avoid automatic billing from apps or sites with subscriptions. This video can be used to understand how to cancel Apple Music and other Apple Subscriptions. The process demonstrated in this video will also enable to you to cancel app subscriptions to non-Apple services, such as Netflix, Life360 and more.

It's not straightforward or easy to find the details on your subscriptions, such as Apple Music and more, when you're running IOS12. So it can make managing or cancelling subscriptions problematic if you don't know what you're looking for!

Before switching to Iphone a year or two ago, as an Android phone user previously, I found it difficult at times to get used to the totally different menu systems and the way things worked. Having subscribed to a few different things when I got my iPhone initially, I didn't know how to find my subscriptions, yet alone manage or cancel them. You may be able to relate to this. This is the reasons I wanted to share this video with you today - so you don't have to go through what I did.

SOME KEY STEPS / MAIN POINTS IN THE VIDEO:

STEP 1 - Go into settings (1:17)

Your settings page opens (1:21)

STEP 2 - Go into the section at the top of the screen and select it - which indicates Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes & App Store and has your name / initials (1:28)

A window opens called Apple ID (1:30)

STEP 3 - Scroll down the page and select the option which is called iTunes & App Store (1:40)

A window opens called iTunes & App Stores (1:41)

STEP 4 - At the top of the screen you will see your Apple ID and email address - select this (1:50)

A smaller pop-up window opens headed Apple ID and your email address (1:52)

STEP 5 - Select the option at the top of the pop-up box called View Apple ID (1:57)

Another pop-up window will then open which states Sign-In Required (2:02)

STEP 6 - Sign in and enter your password here to manage your account (2:10)

A page then opens called Account (2:13)

STEP 7 - Scroll down the page and select the option called Subscriptions - it is about the 8th menu open down the page (2:21)

The Edit Subscription page then opens (2:31)

You can then find, manage and cancel your subscriptions as demonstrated by the video.
