How to Cancel Subscriptions on iPhone (IOS13) - 4 EASY STEPS!

We look specifically at how to cancel subscriptions on your iPhone in IOS13 in this video. It also briefly covers how to manage them too. There are 4 simple steps to follow. This video guides you through the process - step by step so by the end of this video, you will be easily able to find, manage or even cancel your subscriptions.

With the launch of IOS13, it became easier to manage your subscriptions. In previous IOS versions, it was more difficult to find the relevant information and involved going into various different menus and options to find the information you were looking for. Not easy to find!

As an android phone user previously, I moved to Apple, but as it was a totally different operating system, it took a while to get used the different functionality, including how to find subscription details. Which is the reason why I want to share this video with you to make the process simple for you. So you don't have to go through what I did!

When managing your subscriptions, if you decide you no longer wish to subscribe to Apple’s own services such as Apple Music and/or other non-Apple services such as Netflix, Life360 etc., you can cancel those subscriptions on your iPhone with a small number of clicks.

Once a subscription is cancelled, this should be indicated at the top of the specific subscription page – as shown in the video. In our video, on Life 360, it went from saying ‘renews 03 Feb 2020’ to ‘Expires 03 Feb 2020’. The tick by the relevant active subscription also disappears. Additionally, before cancelling – it said at the footer of the subscription page “After the free trial ends, your subscription will renew at £3.99 unless cancelled by 02 Feb 2020’. It then changed to ‘Select an option to resubscribe. If you resubscribe, your new subscription automatically renews for the selected price. You can cancel at any time’. These are indicators that the subscription has been successfully cancelled. Should there be any issues with cancellation, it would be worth contacting apple support.

KEY PARTS/POINTS IN VIDEO:

STEP 1 - Go into settings (1:25)

Your settings page opens (1:26)

STEP 2 - Go into the section at the top of the screen and select it - which indicates Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes & App Store and has your name / initials (1:37)

A window opens called Apple ID (1:39)

STEP 3 - Scroll down the page and select the option which is called Subscriptions (1:48)

The subscriptions page opens (1:49)showing both subscriptions which are active and expired.

STEP 4 - You can then find, manage and cancel your subscriptions as demonstrated by the video.
