This tutorial will walk you through hooking up your android Cell Phone or Tablet so that you can use the internal storage as a pen drive, or to remove files from it. The things you can do include adding and removing music, moving off the pictures you took, and deleting unused data (only do this if you really know what you're deleting).

This is very simple to do, you basically just plug in te phone, and then wait for a message to appear on the phone in the top drag down bar. The message should say something like "USB Connected".

When the message appears, drag down the top bar and click on the USB Connected option (it may have a slightly different message). In that there should be a few options, such as charge only, and mount as storage. You'll want to choose the option that mounts the internal storage to the computer. This can read lots of things, like "Mount SD Card" or "Media sync (MTP)" or "Connect as Removable Storage".

After you choose the mount option, wait a little bit, and a little box should pop up at the bottom right of your computer saying installing driver. Just wait while it finishes. If you don't see it pop up, just wait a few minutes just in case.

Then hit start, then computer, and then look for an option that looks like your phone under removable media. You should see your C: drive, as well as possibly other drives, and then your phone should show up lower down. My phone shows up with a picture that looks kind of like an MP3 player, and is called something like LG-LS970 (because that's the model of my phone).

Then you double click on that icon, and it will take you to another page where it will show the SD card and how full it is. Double click on this, and it will show you all the files on the SD card or interal storage of the phone. Most of this you shouldn't mess with, but some are important. Like the Music folder is where you would put music, and the DCIM folder holds your pictures.
