. Thank you! Understanding the physics of swimming is a key element to help you swim faster, it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an experience swimmer. On this video we will go over buoyancy (meaning the ability to float) .
1- How do you float?
2- How can some people seem to float more easily than others?
3- Why is this important?
4- How do you float in a horizontal position when you swim?
By changing your center of buoyancy, keeping a good amount of air in your lungs, and by kicking! If you have your arms up, the center of buoyancy gets closer to you belly button and by kicking you create an upward force that makes the water push you up, but that is going to be explained by the laws of Newton in the next part of this series of videos explaining the physics of swimming.
5- Cool crowdfunding campaign!
