How to Grow Hops in Containers at Home for Beer Brewing - Backyard Growing Hops Guide

How to grow hops at home in containers, from planting hop rhizomes to harvesting, drying and storing the cones for home brewing. I grew Cascade hops in 15 gallon pots and trained them up the side of my house, and I filmed every step.

You'll learn rhizomes vs hop plants, which hop varieties you can legally grow, where hops grow best (zones 3 to 8), my container soil mix, how I prune to 3 bines per plant and trellis them with garden jute, when to harvest hops (papery cones and yellow lupulin), and how I dry them at 95°F and freeze them.
