Growing zucchini vertically saves space and increases yields. Here's how to grow zucchini vertically in less than 1 square foot per plant, in 5 simple steps.

Zucchini don't have tendrils like cucumbers, so you tie the plant up a 6 foot stake as it grows, planting about 3 inches from the stake on its south side. Cutting the leaves below the zucchini lets the plant focus on making larger zucchini. The variety I grow in this video is Desert F1 zucchini.
