Description from the creator

These tips are absolutely critical to follow when trying to kill tree of heaven.

0:00 Introduction.
0:05 - First, don't cut tree of heaven down without an herbicide treatment. If you do this, you will have hundreds of sprouts coming up from the roots.
0:15 - Second, don't do your treatment in spring or early summer. You won't kill the roots.
0:27 - Third, do your treatment in mid- to late-summer. Avoid treatments in spring or early summer.
0:38 - Fourth, use an accepted technique to apply the weed killer. The hack-and-squirt method is preferred. If you do the cut stump method, you will have more root and possibly stump sprouts that will have to be treated the following year.

The Green Shoots foam herbicide system has several advantages over conventional spray systems for treating tree of heaven. First, Green Shoots dispensers are highly precise and selective. The foam can be discharged very slowly and placed on the target location. Second, once placed on the target, the foam herbicide sticks to the foliage or plant tissue. It doesn’t drip like liquids from a conventional spray system. Third, the foam herbicide dries slowly. This increases translocation of the herbicide so that the roots can be killed. Fourth, the foam herbicide is highly concentrated. This ensures that the mixture is sufficiently powerful to do the job. As explained in the video, using Green Shoots foam weed killer is easy. The herbicide can be placed precisely on the cut stump. If you do a stump application, be sure to apply the foam herbicide immediately after cutting. Tree of Heaven have extensive root systems and sprout easily from those roots, so be sure to apply the foam herbicide to each stem that you can find.
