How To Support Growing Cucumbers

Cucumbers need something to climb up otherwise they will just sprawl all over the greenhouse floor and be impossible to harvest; so this video shows you just one method of supporting your cucumbers. We have used a wigwam of 3 canes to wind the cucumbers around. You can also use a mesh grid at an angle of 45 degrees so the cucumbers hang down underneath the mesh. Our cucumbers are the mini variety Cucino, but this also applies to the normal sized fruit.
