Step 1. Transferring iPhone contacts to Windows PC is pretty fast if you have an app helping you to do that. One of the apps that does the job is iExplorer. iExplorer works perfectly with iPhones running on iOS8.

Normally it comes for a price, but you can also try its demo before investing money into it. Follow the link that you see on screen to download the program demo or buy the program.

Your PC should have iTunes installed on it. If you don’t have the program, follow the link on screen to install it. Good!

Step 2. Connect your iPhone to your Windows PC. The iExplorer window with your iPhone’s data should appear.

Step 3. Click “Data” and then click “Contacts”.

Step 4. iExplorer will ask whether it should load the backup data from your iPhone. Say “Yes” to that.

Step 5. After some time, iExplorer will load the list of all your contacts. In the right lower corner of iExplorer window you’ll be able to see three contact exporting options: “Export All”, “Export Selected Contact” and “Export Selected”. If you want to export all of your iPhone’s contacts to your PC, choose “Export All”.

Step 6. Your contacts will be exported in vCard format and you’ll be able to take them from there to your address databases.

NB! Exporting your contacts with iExplorer works just in the same way with Macs. The only difference is that contacts are exported straight to your Address Book app.

Result: You’ve just learned how to transfer your iPhone contacts to Windows PC and Mac.
