When you want to get your ex back after breaking up with them, things can seem a little bit different.

After all, it’s one thing if your ex broke up with you, but if you are the one dumping them, it complicates things.

First of all, consider why you decided to leave the relationship in the first place. What is something that has changed? If not, then why do you think getting back together might be a good idea?

A simple case of Grass is Greener Syndrome is not enough to really justify getting back together with your ex.

Second, understand that your ex is likely very hurt by what happened and they will need to learn to trust you again if the two of you are ever going to get back together.

They may have some resistance to getting back together with you at first since they may be trying to preserve their pride.

After all, they don’t want to seem too eager or look desperate. So have a little bit of patience with them so you can get back together again.

Then you must, of course, focus on having a strong emotional connection with your ex so that you really inspire them to want to get back together with you again.

Your ex will never want to get back together with you if interacting does not feel good and if the reason for the breakup is not resolved.

Those are two “must haves” that need to be in place before you can get back together with your ex if you broke up with them.
