How To Make Easter-Themed Chocolate Chip Cookies | Channel Mum

Nothing says ""treat"" quite like a buttery Chocolate Chip Cookie. These melt-in-your mouth cookies are a wonderful way to use up leftover Easter chocolate bars (just break it up into chunky pieces!) and will be a hit with the kids. They're a festive Easter holiday treat, but you can definitely make them year-round. Just make sure you're supervising little ones if you decide to make it with the kiddies! Chocolate Chip Cookies - makes approx 20 cookies

Ingredients

250g butter
140g sugar
300g plain flour
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla paste
Your favourite chocolate bar, chopped roughly

Method

1) Preheat the oven to 180 c
2) In a bowl, mix all the ingredients with your hands until combined into a dough
3) Roll out on a floured surface and cut into your chosen shapes. If you don’t have a cookie cutter, a cup can do just as well
4) Bake in the oven for approximately 10 minutes (until they begin to brown)
5) Let them cool, then nibble them all up!
