HOW TO MAKE SPECKLED EGG EASTER COOKIES | INTHEKITCHENWITHELISA

Here it is finally, the first Easter tutorial this year and I am so excited for all of the other recipes that are still coming😍 From today until Easter I will be sharing only Easter recipes for some sweet bakes for Easter🤗🎂 This tutorial on how to make speckled egg Easter cookies was another wild idea I had and honestly it must be one of the most fun cookie decorating techniques that I have tried so far🙂 I hope you will also like this impressive but very simple technique. For this tutorial you will need a batch of baked sugar cookies. I used the recipe from the book by Natasha Collins (link to the book amzn.to/2prLzre ).



YOU NEED:

A batch of baked sugar cookies
Fondant, colors of your choice
50/50% cornstarch and icing sugar mix for rolling out fondant
Rolling pin for fondant
Cookie cutters (I used amzn.to/2prr3XC )
Wide paintbrush like in the video
Brown cake decorating powder (I used amzn.to/2DIka9E )
Water
Caramel or royal icing for attaching the fondant to cookie
