How to Remove Foreign Particles from the Eye Using Water

Having foreign objects in your eyes can be irritating.

Although, removing them can be just as frustrating, one of the easiest, and safest methods, is by simply using water.

There are, in fact, two popular variations of this method.

Method 1, Rinse Eye With Water

When using this method, it is important to Use clean water, such as mineral, or bottled water.

Add this clean water to a cupped hand, and splash the water into the irritated eye.

Sometimes, the force of splashing the water in the eye, can help dislodge, and wash away the debris.

If this method does not flush the debris out, you can try Method 2, using a Bowl of water

This is a gentler variation of method one, which consist of.

filling up a bowl with water.

Submerging the eye in the water.

Opening and moving your eye while submerged.

In most cases these methods can wash away foreign debris.
