Description from the creator

This is the first time I am cleaning Eva's nest after her last baby hatched on 12/09/14. It's important not to disturb the nest in the first week when the parents are getting to know the babies.
Make sure your hands are clean before you pick up the babies to place them in the bowl, wash your hands with hot water only! You don't want pass the soap smell to the babies when you pick them up because the parents might not recognize them after your done cleaning and then leave you to feed the babies before the 2 weeks grace time is up.
Have your trash bucket, paper towels and your virgin wood shavings ready before you start cleaning the nest. Do not clean the wood box with water or soap, just use a dry piece of paper towel to clean the inside like I did in the video. When you are done cleaning the box and placing the babies back in the nest, please place some nest materials that you know your breeder uses to built her nest back in the cage and just let her get back to work on rearranging her box. In 2 days, you will do this all over again until you remove the babies to start hand feeding them. Make sure the nest box is always clean and free of mold, poopie, mildew and other bacteria to ensure a good healthy baby lovebird.
