The enemy of boxing gloves is moisture (sweat), which leads to the growth of mold & mildew. Obviously you're going to sweat when you train, but the problem occurs when you leave your sweaty gloves in your gym bag overnight. The bacteria will feed on your sweat and produce Bromidrosis, which gives off that stinky, body-odor smell. To avoid this, be sure to dry your gloves after each use and leave them to dry in a well-ventilated area. Additionally, you can use dryer sheets, essential oils, or unused tea bags to reduce any bad odors coming from your gloves.
