THE STEPS
1. Shoot on a sturdy tripod, staying level as you pan, and overshoot a little for extra coverage
2. Use a 50mm lens or longer to minimize distortion
3. In Photoshop, go to File, then Automate, then Photomerge, and use the Auto layout
4. Fix any remaining perspective distortion before cropping
5. Crop to your final panorama ratio
6. Use Content-Aware Fill to fill in any gaps the crop leaves behind
