Adobe Photoshop Libraries let you save colors, character styles, graphics, and even entire files to the cloud so they sync instantly across every document and every device you're signed into.

In this tutorial we open the Libraries panel, build a new library from scratch, and fill it with everything a real project needs: searchable Adobe Stock assets, brand colors sampled straight from your artwork, saved character styles for consistent type, and graphics you can drag into any file. We'll also cover licensing full-resolution stock images and sharing a library with collaborators so everyone stays on the same page.

THE STEPS
1. Open a new document, then go to Window, then Libraries to open the Libraries panel
2. Create a new library (or pick an existing one) from the panel's menu
3. Search Adobe Stock right inside the panel, and drag a low-res preview into your document as a placeholder
4. Sample a color with the Eyedropper and click Add Foreground Color to save it to your library for consistent branding
5. Style your type, then click Add Character Style to save the exact font, size, tracking, and color, then apply it later with one click
6. Select any layer, group, or your entire PSD and click Add Graphic to save it to the cloud library
7. When you're happy with a stock asset, right-click it and choose License Image to swap the watermarked preview for the full-resolution file, in place
8. Use View on Website, Collaborate, or Create a Public Link from the library menu to share your assets or invite others to edit
