Description from the creator

Bending trim around a curved surface — like a bay window, arched doorway, or curved wall — seems like a job for professionals, but with the right technique you can achieve smooth, professional-looking results yourself. In this tutorial, we cover three methods for bending wood trim: the kerfing method (making a series of shallow cuts on the back of the trim to allow it to flex), steam bending for more dramatic curves, and using flexible MDF trim molding that bends without any treatment. We explain when each method is appropriate based on the radius of the curve and the trim profile you're working with. We also cover how to apply and secure curved trim with construction adhesive and brad nails for a warp-free, gap-free result. Don't skip curved walls or leave them unfinished because trim seems too difficult — this tutorial makes curved trim completely approachable.
