How to Get Battery Percentage to Show on an iPhone

This video will show you how to make an iPhone show the battery percentage in the top right by the battery icon. THe battery icon can be hard to read sometimes for exactly how much battery is remaining, so I much prefer the percentage.

The ability to do this is already included in the iPhone IOS software, it just needs to be turned on.

First, go into the Settings. The Settings menu can be found somewhere on your home screen apps, with a icon that is a gear

In the settings menu, scroll down until you see the option for General, and then select it.

Under the General menu, there is an option for Usage towards the bottom of the page, select it.

Then scroll all the way to the bottom of the Usage menu. There you will see an option for Battery Percentage, with a slider to the right. This turns on or off the battery percentage option next to the battery icon. Just tap it to turn it on, and your iPhone will always show the battery percentage next to the battery icon.
