Description from the creator

Want to manage all your email accounts in one place on your iPhone or iPad? Whether it's Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, or a custom work email — Apple's Mail app lets you add as many accounts as you need. This step-by-step guide covers both automatic setup (for major providers) and manual IMAP/POP setup (for custom domains and business email).

——— WHAT YOU'LL NEED BEFORE STARTING ———
✔ Your email address
✔ Your email password (or app-specific password if 2FA is enabled)
✔ For custom/business email: your IMAP or POP incoming & outgoing server details (get these from your email host)

——— METHOD 1: AUTOMATIC SETUP (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, Exchange) ———

iOS 16 and earlier:
Settings → Passwords & Accounts → Add Account → choose your provider (Google / Microsoft Exchange / Yahoo / iCloud / AOL / Outlook.com) → sign in → select which services to sync (Mail, Contacts, Calendar) → tap Save

iOS 17 & iOS 18:
Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts → Add Account → choose your provider → sign in with your email and password → tap Next → tap Save

→ This method automatically configures all server settings for you. Works instantly for Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and iCloud.

——— METHOD 2: MANUAL SETUP (Custom / Business / Other Email Providers) ———

1. Go to Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts → Add Account → tap "Other"
2. Tap "Add Mail Account"
3. Enter: Name, Email Address, Password, and a Description (e.g., "Work Email")
4. Tap Next → choose IMAP or POP
5. Enter your Incoming Mail Server details (host, username, password)
6. Enter your Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) details
7. Tap Next → tap Save

→ Get IMAP/POP server details from your email provider or web hosting company (often found in their help/support docs)

——— RENAME & MANAGE YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNTS ———
→ To rename an account: Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts → tap the account → tap account name → edit the Description field
→ To toggle Mail, Contacts, or Calendar sync per account: tap the account → toggle services on/off
→ To set a default "From" address: Settings → Apps → Mail → Default Account → choose your preferred account

——— ADD A SECOND EMAIL ACCOUNT (Repeat for Each) ———
You can add as many email accounts as you need by repeating the same steps. All accounts appear together in the Mail app's unified inbox.
